Here we have Lucy Llama who is proudly showing off her new baby Lulu.
Lucy llama stands at 60 cm high and baby Lulu llama is 40 cm high.
Lucy is knitted in wool boucle using my Superfast technique which is four times faster than normal knitting because it uses 8 mm knitting needles and Lulu is knitted in Sassy on 4 mm needles. Both are very quick and simple to make.

This is Carmella Camel and her son Callum knitting pattern.It is Madknits pattern no 4. They are knitted here in mohair so are very soft but can also be knitted in any yarn of your choice. Carmella is 45 cm high and Callum is 28cm high.The pattern allows you to knit jointed versions as shown here or slightly simpler non-jointed versions.The pattern comes complete with instructions for the fezzes and Callum’s bucket and spade.There is also a Callum jumper available in the Madjumperknits range.
I decided that Cameron the Totally Mad Camel (see Madknits pattern no 2) needed a family so this is his beautiful girlfriend Carmella and their adorable son Callum. Carmella’s face was designed from a member of my healthclub but I cannot reveal who that person is for fear of retribution.

This is Cameron the Totally Mad Camel toy knitting pattern. Cameron can be knitted in two sizes either 20cm high or 45cm high. He can be made jointed or non-jointed as shown here. I originally designed him in February for my husband’s Valentine card.The punchline was “When you said you were taking me to see Oasis I didn’t think you meant this!” He didn’t find it as funny as I did and neither did anyone else so that was the end of my humourus card venture.
About a day after I put the Meerkat Family knitting pattern on Ebay someone emailed me from Australia and asked if I could design a camel. I said that I had just done one and put that pattern on Ebay for her but lots of other people bought it too and it has remained another favourite.
