This beautiful skullcap is really quick and easy to make and only uses I x 50 g skein (or ball) of dk (8ply) yarn so is ideal if you have an odd ball hanging around.

   
Its worked flat on 4 mm needles in any dk (8 ply) yarn of your choice.
The knitting pattern provides full instructions for 4 sizes XS (preemie and tiny baby), S (newborn), M (baby) & L (toddler).
