Well they made it! Despite advice to the contrary my two madmonkeyknits Lucky Dip Silk Striped beanies landed in Katmandu in Nepal , spent a few weeks getting used to the high altitude then made the trek to Annapurna Basecamp in the Himalayas without a guide.

The actual trek took about 10 days and the scariest thing they passed en route was a few donkeys who completed the trek in a much faster time than the beanies.

Having competed the trip the inseparable beanies then celebrated with a rickshaw ride
and a gentle river trip.

The Lucky Dip Silk Beanie dynamic duo are currently relaxing watching the World Cup cricket in India but keep a lookout for their next adventure.
