This is the madmonkeyknits Christmas Tree Beanie Hat and Desk Ornament knitting pattern. This is a real fun knitting pattern for two reasons. Firstly you can customize the Christmas tree decorations and make yours totally unique. Secondly when you get to work, school or home, you simply pop your beanie in the knitted pot and it makes a fantastic desk ornament. The Christmas tree beanie hat itself is knitted in one piece on 4 mm needles in any dk yarn of your choice. The pattern covers four sizes XS,S,M & L so can be made for anyone with a head circumference between 16 – 24 inches which means it will fit babies to fully grown men. The decorations are mainly knitted in my unique microformat on 1.00 mm needles in no 8 perle cotton. There is a choice of stars for the top, Christmas tree lights, three different kinds of baubles, tinsel and candy canes. You can make as many or as few of the decorations as you like and the tree will still look amazing.
