This is my knitting pattern for Fizz and Fuzz the baby orangutan identical twins.
Although these baby orangutans are impossible to tell apart their knitting patterns are surprisingly each quite different.
Fizz stands at 50 cm high and Fuzz is 80 cm high.
Even their mannerisms are exactly the same as you can see here.

Both Fizz and Fuzz are knitted mainly using my Superfast technique on 8 mm needles which is 4 times faster than ordinary knitting and are so quick and simple to make that they only take a couple of days to complete.
The pattern provides full instructions to make jointed versions as can be seen here or slightly simpler non- jointed versions.

This is my Marvin The Blue Monkey nursery toy knitting pattern and it’s what started the whole Nursery series. I was sat in front of the fire watching Columbo one cold Sunday afternoon when I decided to knit something for my niece Lucy who was about to have a baby. As us madmonkeys ALWAYS have boys I made this little fellow.

The next day I got an email to say that Jennifer Kate had just been born!!!!! So it was back to the drawing board!
I designed the whole series with speed and simplicity in mind. Sometimes its fun to just make something really fast and it gives you the confidence to go back to all those half done projects you are always meaning to finish.
