MICRO CHESTER CHIMPANZEE (AMIGURUMI) TOY KNITTING PATTERN
Mar 22nd, 2010 by admin

This is my Micro Chester Chimpanzee Toy knitting pattern. Its knitted in an amigurumi style or micro format as I prefer to call it on 1.00 mm needles with no8 perle cotton. Micro Chester is only 10 cm high and the pattern provides full instructions to make a jointed version with moving head, arms and legs (as seen here) or a simpler non-jointed version.

This pattern is available to buy here for £1.95 as a pdf download which I will email to you; or for £3.50 as a printed version with free worldwide postage.

KNITTED HARRY HILL CHARACTER TOY DOLL KNITTING PATTERN – TV BURP K FACTOR
Mar 9th, 2010 by admin

This is my Harry Hill Toy Doll knitting pattern.

It was designed so that I could win the K Factor on TV Burp and become rich and famous.I really thought this was better than Peter the Duck and that I would walk away with that bag of Harry’s nuts! But it was not to be as you will know if you read my blog and this is probably the only knitted Harry Hill character NOT to appear on the show.

I have received lots of requests to release this knitting pattern of Harry Hill so here it is.

The Harry Hill doll is 50 cm high when made up and his clothes are all removeable. The Harry Hill knitting pattern provides full instructions to make either a fully jointed version as can be seen here or a simpler non- jointed version.
You can purchase this pattern for £3.95 as a pdf download which I will email to you or as a printed copy for £5.75 with free U.K. post. Just click the relevant button and follow the checkout instructions.

A 20 cm high micro version Harry Hill knitting pattern will also be released in the next few days.

HARRY HILL TV BURP – HAS MADMONKEYKNITTER GOT THE K-FACTOR???
Mar 5th, 2010 by admin

I was sat up in my tree knitting a few weeks ago watching Harry Hill’s TV Burp when he announced that he was doing a knitting version of The X Factor. He was launching a competition called The K Factor “So you think you can knit!” FAME at last I thought and I was so excited I fell off my branch. Having composed myself the next day I set about entering this competition.I entered my gorilla suit because lets face it, who else is mad enough to knit one of these?
I then entered virtually everything I’ve knitted over the last few years including my celebrity knits Wayne Babooney and Apey Winehouse and sat back and waited for The TV Burp team to phone me.
The next week I could hardly watch the programme as I waited for some of my knitted things to be shown but they weren’t. So then I had an amazingly unique idea. I would knit a Harry Hill doll, they would have to show that! My Harry Hill knitted character doll did not get entered that week as my mum died and instead I took it to the funeral instead to cheer up all the kids on such a sad occasion. That weekend I fell off my branch again because there were thousands of knitted Harry Hill toy doll entries. Could people have read my mad monkey mind?
Well here is my Harry Hill doll and he’s probably the only one in the country NOT to have appeared on the TV Burp show.

We watch the show together and my Harry Hill knitted doll likes to dress up and copy the real Harry Hill.
Here he is doing last week’s Tommy Cooper impersonation.
We also record our own versions of TV Burp,we particularly enjoyed this version of Which Dinosaur Is Better? There’s only one way to find out .FIGHT!

The winner was the triceratops of course and my Harry went for a victory ride.
By popular demand I have decided to release the knitting pattern for my Harry Hill doll so you too will now be able to have as much fun as I do watching TV Burp. The knitting pattern allows you to choose whether to make a fully jointed version as seen here or a slightly simpler non-jointed version.Harry is 50 cm tall and his suit, shoes and socks are all removeable so you can see what he looks like completely naked. YUK!
To buy a pdf download of this amazingly unique one of a kind harry Hill knitting pattern please click on the celebrity toy knitting patterns page. O.K. so I didn’t win The K Factor this year, there’s always next year!
My vote is for Peter the Duck!
