This is Arnie the Albino Alien Android Ape. He is 42 cm high and can be made with moving joints (as shown here) or as a slightly simpler non- jointed version. Arnie is knitted in any dk yarn on 3.00 mm needles.

I based Arnie’s physique on a fitness instructor at my gym, I used to study his abs during classes and I’m sure he thought I had something else in mind other than using him to design one of my toy monkeys!

FIZZ AND FUZZ THE BABY ORANGUTAN IDENTICAL TWINS — GBP 2.95

This is my knitting pattern for Fizz and Fuzz the baby orangutan identical twins.
Although these baby orangutans are impossible to tell apart their knitting patterns are surprisingly each quite different.
Fizz stands at 50 cm high and Fuzz is 80 cm high.
Even their mannerisms are exactly the same as you can see here.

Both Fizz and Fuzz are knitted mainly using my Superfast technique on 8 mm needles which is 4 times faster than ordinary knitting and are so quick and simple to make that they only take a couple of days to complete.
The pattern provides full instructions to make jointed versions as can be seen here or slightly simpler non- jointed versions.

They are both knitted in Ice Eyelash which is cheap and available to buy on line.

Fuzz is fully jointed which allows her to have fun climbing but the knitting pattern also provides full instructions to make a slightly simpler non- jointed version.

This is my Marvin The Blue Monkey nursery toy knitting pattern and it’s what started the whole Nursery series. I was sat in front of the fire watching Columbo one cold Sunday afternoon when I decided to knit something for my niece Lucy who was about to have a baby. As us madmonkeys ALWAYS have boys I made this little fellow.

The next day I got an email to say that Jennifer Kate had just been born!!!!! So it was back to the drawing board!
I designed the whole series with speed and simplicity in mind. Sometimes its fun to just make something really fast and it gives you the confidence to go back to all those half done projects you are always meaning to finish.

This is my 3 Wise Monkeys knitting pattern.These adorable golden monkeys measure just 6 inches high when sitting and would look fantastic on any mantlepiece (as long as you can get them to behave).

The knitting pattern contains numerous step by step make up photos to help you.
They are knitted on 2.5 mm needles in the fabulous Ayda Simli Kordenet and 1 x 100g ball was enough for all three.
You can of course use any other similar gold metallic yarn but size may vary slightly.
